Elizabeth is the backbone of the Museum’s visitor services program. She works with Museum staff and DEA employees across the agency’s headquarters and divisions to coordinate tours with international visitors, maintain the Museum’s Facebook page, and ensure that all guests’ needs and interests are met before and during their visit to the Museum. With a Master of Arts in museum studies, she guarantees that visitors learn and engage with the Museum’s impactful content. She is also a NAI Certified Interpretive Guide, BSA Merit Badge Counselor, and has several years of experience working with youth groups and people from around the world.
Elizabeth particularly enjoys introducing visitors to the Museum’s Gear Up digital interactive. Its colorful and accessible touchscreen display demonstrates how special agents select the tools they need to conduct field missions. The Museum has a variety of interactives that immerse visitors in the diverse and essential jobs at DEA, inviting them to explore the tools and skills necessary to effectively enforce U.S. drug laws.
