Drug traffickers often plant illicit marijuana in dense forests and jungles. They use booby traps and armed guards to protect their crops. This spiked bamboo trap was discovered in Thailand. Activated by a trip wire, its sharp barbs are tightly tied together with strong vines. Sometimes, hikers and other innocent bystanders unwittingly fall victim to these dangerous, hidden snares.
