Stories from the Collection: Drug Mule Bell and Bridle

In this episode of “Stories from the Collection,” the DEA Museum spotlights a drug mule bell and bridle from the Golden Triangle. Drug traffickers in Southeast Asia sometimes move loads of opium and heroin on the backs of mules, animals bred from donkeys and horses. Learn how illegal drug sales have affected the region, especially Burma, the second largest opium poppy grower in the world.
