Detective

November 04, 1951 - February 02, 1988

Task Force Officer Terry W. McNett of the Sedgwick County, Kansas, Sheriff's Office was shot and killed on February 2, 1988, while executing a search warrant in Wichita, Kansas. Task Force Officer Detective McNett was assigned to a Drug Enforcement Administration task force. He was 36 years of age at the time of his death.

Detective McNett was survived by his wife, Cynthia; one son, Vincent; and one daughter, Melinda.
