LSD is typically found in saturated absorbent paper called blotter paper that is divided into small, decorated squares, with each square representing one dose that can be taken orally. This perforator would have been used in the creation of such blotter papers. By turning the handle on the side, it pushes paper down onto small metal teeth that allow the squares to be easily separated. Papers could be produced in various sizes meaning this perforator could create dozens of doses in just a few minutes.
