Stories from the Collection: Pentagon Rubble
In this episode of “Stories from the Collection,” the DEA Museum remembers the devastating terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. DEA task force officers raced to help survivors in New York City, and employees watched the Pentagon smolder from the agency’s headquarters building in Arlington, Virginia. Today, the Museum preserves rubble from the Pentagon and maintains a memorial to task force officers who died from illnesses related to their work at the Twin Towers’ attack site.
